These hand blown and drawn cylinder glass beads were made by Tom Andre at Tomato Tree Studio in Seattle between 1976 and 1979. In the book "Beads of the World", by the late Peter Francis, Tom is listed as one of the earliest contemporary glass bead makers in the United States, having produced glass beads from the 1970's until 2006.
The G0079 and G0070 to G0076 strands equate to approximately 20". The approximate bead sizes are listed but may vary slightly from strand to strand as they are individually hand blown, drawn and cut. Product numbers ending in -02 are Jet, numbers ending in "M" are matte and all remaining colors are transparent. The range is from approximately 25 beads per strand for the largest beads to approximately 70 beads per strand for the very smallest beads.
G0077 is a mix of fancier multicolored and/or twisted hand blown, drawn and cut beads which come in a variety of sizes and colors that are not available in the 20" strands.
